Some Pictures From My Files

I like passenger car photos, and using a disposable Panoramic Camera got a few shots this summer. I was quite pleased with development of the photos, but had Black's Camera download them on the net for me. Those results were disappointing. They seem to be geared to only doing 35mm film, resulting in small pictures with a black bar on the top and bottom. I am presently replacing them when I can scan the originals.

I will provide more details about each picture as time goes on. Sorry these aren't thumbnails, what you see is what you is what you get.

Coach # 3926 PHOTO/DATA: Richard Montgomery
  1. 1955 built by Pullman-Standard, lot # 6965, plan # 7648, stainless steel sheathed as MKT # 1301 "TEMPLE". Classed as COACH-LOUNGE with 32 coach seats, buffet and 27 seat lounge.
  2. 1967 to SP&S, renumbered # 309, configuration. unchanged.
  3. 1971 to AMTRAK, rebuilt COACH-BUFFET with 58 coach seats and buffet., renumbered # 3926.
  4. 1977 sold Lakeshore R.R. Historical Society

Coach # 6450 PHOTO/DATA: Richard Montgomery

  1. 1955 built by Pullman-Standard, lot # 6965, plan # 7647, stainless steel sheathed as MKT # 1206 "McALESTER". Classed as DIVIDED-COACH with 64 coach seats.
  2. 1965 to NP # 528, configuration = 64 seat COACH
  3. 1971 to AMTRAK # 6450, configuration = 64 seat COACH
  4. 1998 to N.R.H.S.-Lakeshore Chapter, Northeast, PA.
